Should i buy PS4 Pro for 2560 x 1440 resolution?

Does PS4 Pro support ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q Gaming Monitor - 27" 2K WQHD (2560 x 1440) IPS, overclockable 165Hz, G-SYNC™?  If i buy PS4 Pro can i play PS4 games in this monitor?

PS4 doesn't support GSync or high refresh rates, so it's wasted money if you don't have a gaming PC that can leverage those technologies as well. Any 60Hz 1440p will do.

So buying this monitor is waste of money. I wonder if i can play PC games and PS4 games.

I mean if you want a PS4 go for it, but to buy a PS4 for that monitor? That does not make sense.. buying a XBOX1X for getting Freesync and 120 hz makes more sense, since PS4 does not support that as far as i know of?

your PS4 won't advance with 144HZ monitor, it will play 60HZ normally, but PC games will advance from 144HZ

 

you will connect PS4 wia HDMI to the monitor and thats it

it has Gsync feature which only supported for nvidia GPU

it will turn ON fine with any GPU, but you are buying expensive monitor for the feature that you pay, and you will never use it until you use nvidia gpu.

1st: G-Sync is Proprietary Garbage only supported by one vendor and noone else

2. PS4 does not support 1440p anyway. Either 1080p or 2160p. Nothing in between.

3. Get a good 60Hz 4K Screen with HDR and stuff like that for PS4.

What QC issues mean? I am worry about stuck pixel , dead pixel , bright pixel and back light bleeding.

thats exactly what it means, QC stands for quailty control, I ordered mine today and will see how it looks when monitor arrive. If I am not satisfied I will return it.

no

1st: PS4 only supports 1080p and 2160p

2nd: GSync Monitors seems to be rather incompatible with "3rd party stuff"...

 

So no, you'd rather get a 42" UHD TV than that.

If you are buying the monitor to go with your PC and your PC properly supports the monitor then go right ahead. But do note, while the PS4 Pro will work with monitor most likely, it will probably limit the output to 1080p since 1440p is not a supported resolution, and the monitor likely doesn't support a 2160p input either. My PS4 Pro grays out the 4K/2160p options on my 1440p monitor.
