Am I the only one?

super_teabag

Just got my RMA'd graphics card back it's a 7850 1gb OC edition card. Now now i know there's better cards out there that will smash this one to pieces, but for the price it was a good card at the time.

Let's not talk about performance of the card rather who's had issues with sapphire cards? Am I the only one who's gotten two effed up cards that just won't work from sapphire?

my first one had graphical issues when using firefox and google chrome. The second one is having issues; such as, frequent driver crashes, graphical enomilies, and other random glitchiness.

what are your thoughts about sapphire? Am I crazy, and can't get them to work with my motherboard. For now I'm giving it a rest, but I'm going to get another graphics card then test with my motherboard to see if that's the problem.

Let's see, I've had quite a few Sapphire cards over the years, IIRC, one of my HD2900XT's was a Sapphire, One of my 3 HD7970's is a Sapphire, it's been doing a bangup job since I'd first gotten it in January 2012, it's been moved to my 3rd rig as a single card......and both my new R9 290Xes are from Sapphire too. Only time i've had to RMA a Sapphire card was the HD2900XT.....or was it a HD3870? Damn, memory's kind of fuzzy now. Bear in mind, I've had to RMA cards from both nVidia and ATi/AMD of different brands thru the years.....some died on their own, some due to minor faulty hardware, like a fan that generated a lot of now and wasn't cooling the card effectively (MSI HD3870 X2).

I've done several builds with sapphire cards and they've done better than expected so no complaints from me.

I keep running into issues, and it's kind of discouraging... can't figure out why this card won't work. Should i try it in another system? then try a different graphics card in my system? But i don't have the option of throwing it into another system. What's the next best option?
