no, playing crysis 3 on that resolution will still needs lots of power

Wow, I'm not the only man left in the world that has a 5/4 monitor. Mine is 1600x1280...

It should be enough to max out most games when oc'ed.

yes it is. at that res all games turns into cpu games and you will see 50-80% gpu usage

There's not such thing as overkill 4x780ti at 640x360 might be overkill (if SLI is perfect)

What are your system specs? I had a 1440x900 resolution monitor with a HD 7750 and was able to play all of my games at medium to high settings.
