Trying to put together a budget build this summer...

This is a ~750& build that uses AMD's ryzen 3 2200G as a graphics processor and includes monitor and peripherals. I'm debating between Ethernet or wireless.

Looks fine. I would be weary of the hdd if I were you.

Thanks! I was going to get a WD 1 TB drive for ~40$, but I saw a 3 TB drive for 20$ more so I decided to go for more space, and I've heard a couple people say Hitachi is decent so I added it to the list.

maybe this? Its basically the same computer but it has dual channel memory, and its cheaper for 7$

EDIT: those 7$ are very important!

EDIT 2: didnt notice that the storage drive was 3TB...

EDIT 3: version with 3TB storage: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YHtgbX, but its 20$ more expensive...

Ethernet is the simplest. It is just one cable plugged in and your good to go.

Also Ethernet is the fastest connection when comparing to WiFi.

With the ram, I suggest getting 2 sticks of 4gb as you are missing out on dual channel with only one stick.

The HDD, meh, it'll do you fine but you would want something from a more reliable brand. It will work fine though.

Nice build, have fun.

As a person who was stuck on Wifi for the last few years, up until a few months ago, you will grow to hate it for gaming.

Try to do ethernet if at all humanly possible.

New Build (The Compromise): CPU - i7 9700K @ 5.1Ghz Mobo - ASRock Z390 Taichi | RAM - 16GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 3200CL14 @ 3466 14-14-14-30 1T | GPU - ASUS Strix GTX 1080 TI | Cooler - Corsair h100i Pro | SSDs - 500 GB 960 EVO + 500 GB 850 EVO + 1TB MX300 | Case - Coolermaster H500 | PSUEVGA 850 P2 | Monitor - LG 32GK850G-B 144hz 1440p | OSWindows 10 Pro.

Thanks! My dad has an Ethernet cable that's really long that he probably bought several years ago and never used (he's that kind of guy) but it's really nice in this situation so I can route that all the way to my room. I wanted to go with single channel because I can bear missing 5-10 fps so I can upgrade up to 32 gb using the same type of memory in the future where games can use that much and when prices go down. I'll also use the 72$ hard drive because it's the same storage, but it's a much more reliable brand.

Edit: I looked at some benchmarks online, and have decided that 16 gb is perfectly fine, and I can just buy different ram sticks once ram prices come down... So a 2x4 kit is great :D
