Will Triple 1440p on a GTX 1080 run Fortnite on Max Settings?

David1521
Go to solution Solved by XtremeCookiez,

Use Nvidia's DSR to run the game at 3x 1440p. This should give you an idea of how it'll run.

I have an i7 6800k and a gtx 1080, I already have one Samsung CHG70 32 inch 16:9 monitor and I was wondering if I got 2 more, what kind of framerate could I expect using nvidia surround running all 3 with the game?

And an Amazon Echo linked at the same time to these speakers via bluetooth on the sound blaster. | Microphone and DAC/AMP: Blue yeti pro, and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (2nd Gen) | Router and Modem: Asus rog rapture GT-AC5300, and ARRIS SURFboard SB8200

That makes even less sense. How would that be practical at all.

A 32inch monitor is already fucking massive

3x 1440P might be a stretch, that's a lot of pixels

Might be a struggle, 1080 drops below 50 FPS at 4k

Damn, you're right, what if I ran it with lower settings, no post processing and low shadows? Maybe I can just run it at low settings until the 1180 is released?

It'll struggle. A 1080 gets around 50FPS at 4K, and 3x1440p is harder to run than 4K

Does 1080p look really bad on a 1440p monitor?

Use Nvidia's DSR to run the game at 3x 1440p. This should give you an idea of how it'll run.

My 1080 runs 4K high Destiny 2 at 70-80 FPS. It might be because it’s at 1911 Mhz though.

Well so? lol sorry xD

Its a completely different game - different engine and different optimisations - 70 to 80 FPS is optimistic as well, considering my 1080 @ 2100mhz doesn't do that

Huh?!?! I have an FE at 1.9 and you have a custom at 2.1. How do you not hit 70-80?
