Is it creepy to add someone?

There is this girl i like very much at school. We take same bus all the way to school and we go same school (what a coincidence). And one early day i decided to talk to her in person and said that she is pretty and bla bla out of nowhere, she smiled and said thanks to what i said but she said she needs to go because she have class. Now i know her name and want to add on facebook. Is that creepy?

Add her on Instagram or Snapchat, not Facebook thats just weird

It's alright to add her IF you'll keep talking with her and all, just add her for the sake of doing so wouldn't lead you anywhere.

it is only weird if you act weird and you will act weird only if you subconsciously feel that is weird. In other words, do not think it is weird and talk to her as if it is perfectly normal. Try to befriend her. 

 

If if you are romantically interested in her, well, still befriend her first then ask her out.

Facebook is more like showing someone's life and all the people connected which is a lot of info for someone you barely know. Snapchat is seen as private messaging or streaks and stuff. Insta is where they can show off so they want you to see it and gain followers

But seriously. You talked to her, why not just talk to her again? Or ask if she wants to add you to Facebook? Don't just do it out of the blue, that's just odd. Why don't you start by giving her your number? Then if she wants, she'll message you. If you don't get a message, then she's not interested. It is a much lower pressure move. Did she just say thanks, or did she engage in more conversation? If all she said was thanks and didn't move to further the conversation (or worse, if you didn't and that's all you had to say) then again, she's probably not that interested.

 

A lot of the replies make me laugh and feel sorry for future generations. Y'all are gonna be a fucking mess.

I didnt engage in more conversation because she said she needs to go get her pc and go to class.

 

and also when i talked to her that time she is with her friend and while i was talking her friend was just standing beside like nothing. So the whole conversation was really wierd.

The fact that most people born after 2000 likely got a computer at the age of 5-8, possibly even a phone, makes them feel entitled(demand a 13 yr old to give up their phone for a month, good luck), or at the very least unable to appreciate the costs of things.

 

I was the odd one out in school, but if what they said is true that's more messed up than any school I ever attended, from being a majoritity to a minority of the schools cultural population. Being born in the 90's (and I growing up in them), we were able to watch and educate ourselves on these things as most kids during this time were not given a cell phone or a gaming system (most likely of the 3), let alone a computer. I had access to a computer since 93/94 (I think, it was a 3.1, only kid in the family to have "free" access too) and even internet when dialup wasn't insanely expensive, but I still value tech and even a penny. You give a 13 yr old a penny they likely have no idea what to do with it.

 

Plus when we watched channels like Discovery and History, we didn't get 90% reality BS... If you're lucky you'll see some of the good stuff on them.
