Planning a Build and need some advice

Hey guys, planning on doing this build before Christmas this year. I've done some of my own checking with compatibility issues and there seems to be none. Just wondering if you guys see anything that i've missed and even offer some suggestions. This will mainly be used for gaming, however video and image editing will be done aswell.

 

CPU: i7 7820X

RAM: G.Skill Trident 3000MHz DDR4 32GB

PSU: Corsair AX860 Platinum

Motherboard: ASUS Strix X299-E Gaming

GPU: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti OC

Case: Corsair Crystal 570X RGB Black ATX

SSD: Samsung 960 EVO NVMe M.2 250GB (Probably will only be used as a boot drive)

HDD: WD Black 2TB

CPU Cooling: Corsair H115i Pro 280mm

New cards are going to launch and possibly new Intel HEDT and consumer chips as well.

I would wait until you're a couple weeks away from building and check back

 

Overall it looks solid though.

wait for Z390 and Core Coffee Lake/Insert new lake name. Will have higher overclock and IPC for gaming than the 7820X, will probably cost less two vs the HEDT set up

Why go with the 7820X when there's the 8700K or the Ryzen 2700?

I was reading and i liked the look of it. That's why i posted it here, get suggestions off people who know a little (a lot more) than I do.

Go with the i7-8700(K) or Ryzen 7 2700(X). Much better price/performance.

7800X and 7820X are quite bad value because they don't outperform the 8700k by that far to justify the price delta. It's either 8700k or 7900x.

I would go 8700k. Using a 960 Evo as a boot drive is also a bit of a waste of money as it doesn't improve boot times over a decent sata ssd. The only good reason to get an nvme ssd would be to use it as a scratch disk for video editing.

That was a great set up already. I am planning to build my own set up. I think my pc is already outdated.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4130 CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4400

I can play dota 2 and other MMORPG games without problem but I can't play high end games like black desert and PUBG. I am also planning to buy some good monitors and currently checking great set up here. 

What do you think guys? I hope I can earn a lot of money to have a good setup like jrobi. That's all thanks
