I rather liked this review.

The comparing to alternatives, but still calling out the advantages was good. Furthermore the voice overs with the better mic I like too.

 

Plus I didn't find the "Intel and AMD made a CPU together" title really that clickbait-y. If you replace 'made' with 'collaborated on', you would have a much nicer title. Or if you named it "Intel and Radeon collaborated on a CPU together" it would have been quite accurate even.

AMD can't do a multi-die interconnect like Intel can that enabled the linkage between the CPU and GPU.  That's why this is so much better than AMD's APU garbage.

That was my first thought, too.  I'm really interested in this thing as I'm hunting for a new computer to replace my aging laptop and this is a fascinating third option besides laptop and desktop.

I mean it's not a CPU. It's pretty much they made a SOC than a CPU. It's an Intel CPU with an AMD GPU.

Great Work AMD... ok Intel xD

CPU = A10 6800K (@4.3Ghz) / GPU = HD 8670D (@844mhz/ram@1866mhz) - 2016 ≠ Dual Cores - why learn Linux ? - OLD intel x4 cpu (Q6600) + amd HD 7950 - this is what i think on watts x dollar cost - CPU "bottlenecks" only start to show "at the super high end cards" (like the 390) if you have a 4 cores CPU

NUC is a less interesting usage for this chip, although we get a good benchmark of what is coming soon. i7-8809G/i7-8805G are gonna be HUGE for ultrathin and convertibles. If they gonna make i5-8250U mingle with that Vega M at a good price point, it's gonna be a smash hit.
