Ryzen x X470 Compatibility

Just want to be sure out this, but are first gen Ryzen processors compatible with x470 or does it only work the other way around?

Yes, Current 1XXX Series CPUs will be compatible with x470. Its already been announced its backwards compatible. Only compatibility will be with Ryzen 2XXX Chips on x370 chipsets without BIOS updates.

Ngl, I'm only going for the boards because of the addressable RGB headers and some other small things lmao

Then yes, if you have a current 1XXX series Ryzen Chip, it will work out of the box in an X470 board.
