The vga is more likely a tnt2 of some sort due to that large eeprom on it, the style of the heatsink and memory configuration. the pins on it are a feature connector.

I went to VCFMW today.

The 8-Bit Guy and LGR were there. I didn’t attend the panel but I did sit on the 8-Bit Demoscene presentation.

After that I walked around. The main area had the distinctive hum of CRTs everywhere, no matter where you walked.

There was a Radeon HD 4870 X2 that I wanted to get but we were late to the presentation, and when I got back it was gone.

There was a big table ring that I called the “Mac Ring”. It had G3s, G4s, G5s, PowerBooks, Studio Displays, etc. Here’s the picture I took before my phone died.

There was also an IBM mainframe. Inside were capacitors of death (very big, very exposed, very dangerous) that I have no pictures of.

There was also a PNY GTX 770 that someone had but I didn’t have enough for it. Next to it is a Voodoo something, don’t know exactly what.

One of my favorite sections was the Stooge-O-Matic, where you could watch the Three Stooges on a period-accurate TV. I got lucky and hit Calling Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard.

Can someone explain this?

How much was the HD 4870 x2?

Don't remember exactly. My brain says $25 but that doesn't sound right.

I have this old school ram for sale, not sure if anyone is interested in it. I would like to sell it to Linus if he's interested in it since I think it would make for an interesting video.

Like OLD SCHOOL RETRO GAMING RIG WITH BLINGO... lol. XD

If he doesn't want it I would be happy to sell it to someone for their collection. I also have other older stuff as well.

Yeah, I don't really know what a fair price is honestly. I can't seem to find anyone online selling them. I just don't want to toss out a random number if I don't have to. I wanted 150$ for the entire DDR2 setup with the ram included which I thought was fair. Which is 6 sticks of ram, crosshair motherboard, windows xp and a AMD 5000+.

Hey, just a tip:

That's worth way more than $150.

Just 2 of those sticks of ram are worth like $50.

You could easily get $300+ for that IMO.

Not as cool as the one above and sad to say it ment i didn't bother to clean the Microsoft Natural 4000 for a photo op.  But when picking up my Audiobox USB 96 the other day from cash converters.  They had this looking lonely on the shelf

Sound Blaster Live SB0200. For an XP system.

I think I've got a few of those in my basement of various revisions. Meh sound cards and I seem to recall drivers being a bit of a pain.

Found my first gpu ever (or at least the first one I bought new and with my own money), the Radeon HD 4870 1GB. It is one of the main reasons why I stayed from ATI/AMD gpu's the best I could for so long (The second reason is my laptop came with an ATI gpu, and it also gave blackscreen and bsod errors. It still remains the only laptop I have atm).

This graphics card seemed like a solid choice at the time, but no matter what driver released I would get the BSOD after only 45 minutes to an hour of playing the original Modern Warfare. I still appreciate that I was able to use it for a time, every day, and do what I needed to. It mainly worked alright outside of gaming, but I would have to constantly save, because it was still prone to show the infamous BSOD. If you're wondering, "Why did you keep it past a few weeks, and not return it?" I didn't get any BSOD errors until maybe a month or two after use.

It's very eye opening and makes me appreciate a lot of things, coming all the way from this to the RTX 3060 that I just upgraded to, as well.
