That would be overkill for a P3 lol. If I didn't have my Radeon 9600se I'd probably put it in the computer, but my P4 doesn't want to let go of it, and I wouldn't want it to :P

I know. xD But the bragging rights.... It's not the same with it paired with my 2.8GHz HT Prescott Pentium 4.

My favorite LGA478 P4 was the 3.06Ghz Northwood CPU. at the time when they were hot I was able to pick one up from a guy I worked with for $75 :D He did not know what he had. At the time that CPU was going for $300 brand new in box. God I can not believe I actually remembered all that. That was a long time ago

not to burst your bubble but it is mPGA478 because the pins are on the CPU and not the socket itself.

Watchout! Coppermines cannot be oced beyond 1 GHz... (cache becomes unstable)

PS: with that you can play GTA SA without problems

I never planned on overclocking them. Everything I own runs at stock. :)

I found this software a couple days back. The ones in the big boxes are on 360k 5.25" floppies, so I had to order a 5.25" FDD which will be here monday :)

it had a pentium   dual core at 2.6GHz ,2GB of random ram, a 250GB seagate Barcouda HDD ,the only good thing about it ,it was a dell Optiplex 380 back in 2009 ,and they used a very good cooler with a slightly big heatsink and a 120mm fan so it ran at 45° Tops ,added a Radeon 6450 to it back than

About a month ago I also got another older computer, this one is a Pentium MMX 233MHz with 64MB ram, ATi Rage II+, AWE64, 1.84GB WDC drive, 1.44mb FDD, and a CD-ROM.

I have some RDRAM i think 4 sticks of it adding up to 2GB (4x512MB). If you don't know what RDRAM is Google it but it was pretty fast ram back in the day and cost a hell of a lot.

I also have a 4850X2. I will post some pictures of both when i can.
