Budget 1080p monitor for new PC Build.

redscape

Okay, so I'm planning to build a new system, and need a monitor to go along with it. Here are the conditions:

1. Should be affordable.

2. Should be decently color accurate, since I do more editing work (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) as compared to gaming.

3. High-Refresh Rate is not much of a need for me.

4. 1080p or higher is a requirement.

Thanks in advance! :)

If you don't care about refresh rate, any decent IPS-monitor should be good.

If you do however, it will get really expensive.

Well there are plenty of 1080p IPS options available

That's pcpartpicker US. I see you're in the UAE where prices differ. Hopefully what you have there roughly correlates to the prices in the linked list.

There is no pcpartpicker or equivalent price comparison site for UAE I believe.

I have never been to India or the UAE.

Yup that’s the problem. Prices here differ so much compared to the US. But recently an Amazon global store opened on a local e-commerce site called Souq, so let me check there.

If you can link me to online stores I could have a look and pick a good and cheap one for you. But I have no idea if the seller is reputable or can be relied on for customer service.

So these the the best and reputable online stores for pc parts:

uae.souq.com

uae.microless.com

This one if you are on the absolute cheap (LG, 21.5" 1080p IPS 60Hz)

This one is essentially the same thing but much more modernized and ditches the horrible wobbly plastic stand

This if you want a 24" screen (Dell, 23.8" 1080p IPS 60Hz)

Thanks for taking your time to do this. The options are pretty affordable and look great! I think I’ll get the second one.
