Hey there Linusoids, been a while and a bit.

Never really stopped folding, been doing a lot with the main system since I last posted. Making more money, looking to move after the heaters broke in this building, so I've been running hot and hard. Upgraded the PSU to do it. After everything that's happened, I really don't feel bad about popping for two 1080Tis back in 2018. They stay folding almost 24/7, unless I want to game or something, and nothing slows them down. CPU's all too happy to join in the fun sometimes...but I get stuck with a lot of 3-day projects, so I usually finish, pause, and restart after one of those. But yeah, I never really left, just got busy with life.

Glad to see you're all alive, too.

With the knowledge of boinc pent coming up I will push the folding event past the pent, have a spring folding event then a mid to late summer sprint and finally the usual folding month.

We have been subjected to comic sans.... The science team, the grown ups, the ones trying to better the world by using race cars to cure cancer... are now stuck in comic sans. Sigh. I know it's April first, but this might be the last pandemic suffering I can sustain while maintaining a positive attitude or a desire to help my fellow human.

Never fails. Leave for work, rig shuts down. Get home, works great for 2 weeks.

On a side note, I've got a motherboard to RMA since it's not recognizing a complete channel of RAM. Once that happens, after I get home, I'll have 2 M400s added to my folding devices. Switching things up. NAS/Plex is going to be separated from my main folding rig, but the GPUs in that will fold as well. Also got to the front of the EVGA Que finally.

This will be added next time I'm home as well.

image.png.83f03c627bff2f0d43c1adac8132cca3.png

That'll remove a 1070 from my main rig. My NAS won't go dual PSU, so I'll have a 1070 with no home.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Those are some nice looking rigs you've got there. Question, how's that BeQuiet AIO working out for you? I've thought about getting one sometime. I currently have a BQ case and air cooler.

I like it well enough. Nice thing is that it doesn't need anything special for added control software. Seems to keep the 5900 cool enough.

Not much of a Gamer….. But I have thing about F@H that may be a little over the top.   See my builds here
