I know how to watercool my 2080 Super, with the full block that doesn't fit. I'll have it done sometime next week. The thought crossed my mind the other day, why not put the through hole caps an inductors on the BACK of the card? Won't be able to use the backplate ever again.

I’m hoping those are NF-A12 iPPC 2000s and not 3000s as with that much area to dissipate heat they should be running fairly slow even with that CPU which likely makes my 9900k look like a coffee cup warmer rather than the toaster it is on my poor little 280 CLC.

I suspect the question is not “what are your load temperatures” but “how many degrees above ambient are the loops”

All 3000RPM ones. Not a single 2000 in sight. Not very hot. 3090 doesn't go above 30c with ok ambient temps. Unless I OC then it goes to 35-37C but fans barely spin.

Anyone confirm EOC is not getting points for them?

EOC is working well: https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/aggregate_summary.php?s=

But there is a recurring problem with a couple FAH servers which don't communicate normally with the stat system (albeit everything else is OK with them).

I remember when @TheNaitsyrk made posts looking for a case to hold a crap ton of those rads. At one point you had a Thermaltake Core X(5? 9?) and then came back and said "It's not good enough I need more!" to which I responded "I'm giving her all she got Capn!!!" and I remember you saying you were going to make your own but up until this point I don't think I've ever seen it before.

LTT will be taking part in the BOINC Pentathlon once again this year where our community goes up against others on a variety of projects on the BOINC platform. It would mean the world to be if our regular folders are willing to sign up and get involved to really show the BOINC community what LTT is made off.

Also I would like to see my fellow folders write a status about this, feel free to quote mine or create your own!

I absolutely do not have the patience for BOINC, but I'll see what I can do. Is it still mostly CPU?

It's a mix, we don't know the exact projects that will be chosen yet as they are announced throughout the event. There is always some CPU and some GPU projects though. If you wanna do minimal effort just run on the marathon project which is usually a CPU only project.

Please forgive the following uninformed question. I am trying really hard with two 2080's and a 3090 plus the 10900x and 10900KF just to crunch myself into Mythic status for F@H... do Bionic points count towards that? Or is it a fully separate points system? Right now I am in a glut and it will be over 3 weeks for me to move up even 1 more place beyond 27th and I am still almost 800M points away from the modified 2.5B updated target. I can pull in between 12M and 13M points per day right now racing myself so I just want to know what the impact would be if I switch per your request?

Intel 10900X and 10850KA. NVIDIA 3090FE and EVGA 3090 K|NGP|N Hydro Copper. 196GB RAM. 2x Corsair AX1200I power supplies, $6K in Corsair Hydro-X Custom cooling all wrapped up in a Phantex Enthoo Elite dedicated to supporting F@H (User ID PEZUI on team LTT! 223518)

Actually wait I saw the previous iteration

I had Thermaltake Core X9 which held 3x 480mm and 1x 240mm with 2x D5 pumps.

Then I made another case custom cut steel and that held 6x 480mm and 2x 240mm with 2x D5 pumps also but it was too hard to stick components in and what not so...

I made my final case out of aluminium square pipes and L shaped rails with thick plastic joints to accommodate 8x 480mm XE rads and 1x 240mm rad and 4x D5 pumps but it was all open air bench and didn't look too good, so I grabbed used 011 Air from Lian Li and drilled holes for pipes and cables for fans along with 4x Splitty Actives and 1x Splitty Octo + all fan ports used on the X299 Dark with splitters to accommodate almost 50x Noctua fans.

Then I managed to squeeze in my last rad which is 2x 240mm XE rads from EK.

So total now is 10x XE rads with 50x Noctua fans and 4x D5 pumps.

For the pipes coming off the case and going into the tower I bought car clips so that they're super even.

@GOTSpectrum

I'm very cpu weak compared to my gpu power, I also will look into what I can do.

Worst case I will run the marathon, do we know which project it will be?
