What the title says.

Mine is buying a 850Watt power supply for a single GPU computer setup.

I didn't listen to my friend and got an EA-750 for my 560 Ti when I was first getting into computers :P

Edit: Oh, and I rushed to get one for my build and didn't get a modular one either. However, it did help teach me to cable manage.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

That's not a fail. PSUs are recyclable for builds. You will always have "enough", even if you go 2-way Xfire/SLI.

The extra money you spent would be on futureproofing I guess, which is far more valid to do with a PSU.

Asus G75VX - I should have gotten a desktop

Razer Kraken - Super unomfortable for me...

Razer Goliathus - Ok mouse pad but get dirty too easily

Sony Xperia Z - Gets overheat too often, terrible battery life, "waterproof" although I got it damaged by water... good service by Sony though

Nintendo 3DS - yes, i know... I just don't seem to like it much...

I think thats it. Thats like 60% of my electronics...

Edit: Not getting an SSD

Paying less for my G75 and getting a non-3d display one

Getting the 5400-rpm HDD version of the G75

Getting a Windows 8 computer

Buying a bunch of games I never played more than 1 hour of..

NEVER LISTEN TO YOU PARENTS WITH TECHNOLOGY

but but but my dad is an electrical engineer :( if u cant trust engineers who can you trust :P

He wont have to buy a psu if he upgrades in the future.

ok but when he does have to upgrade he will replace his single card with another single card. in which case video cards are getting more power effciant meaning he still doesnt need all that extra wattage.....

Why do you need a sound card? They're useless...
