Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

owner of gen 4 LS vehicle. DOD deleted. Runs fucking mint after getting rid of the cyl deactivation. With an upgraded cam and a leveling kit, the average fuel economy went from 14.4 to 14.3. Screw that noise. Made it 226,000 before having an AFM lifter fail. The updated valve cover for sure helped with oil consumption.

I believe its just a sponsorship package change, it all still runs under Unit2 Fab but now they can bring in another car (the evo which was/is previously a Magnus project). Very confusing as it stands, but it starts to make sense when you look at what theyve done over 2019. Long short of it is that CA-NS wants to grow their "series" and do it by promoting these two cars, in hopes of attracting (read stealing) competition away from already established organizations (Can-Jam & CSCS or potentially Gridlife).

TLDR they bought the title sponsor spot from Ktuned and in return Unit2 runs at events on their behalf, with entirely the same crew as before.

I dont have all the screenshots on hand atm

I must say, I dunno if it's getting a first car in general or getting a unique one but wow I really have been missing out not driving for the last 4 years lol

But I think Im getting the hang of it all pretty well. you know it's still weird but of the low speed insignificant miles I've driven don't matter now because I've driven about 53 miles so far over the last 4 days.

That does see to be pretty low mileage, but at the end of the day, we are all here because we like cars. We all share the passion of liking them because we all drive them, work on them or move them or a combo of all three. It’ll be sad the day when I have to give up driving for age honestly lol. Just hope I have another 50 good years of driving let in me at the least.

would any one of you motorcyclist reuse this front sprocket. Its slightly bent

Only saying this cause the sprocket i got does not fit even though it supposed to fit, i say that cause it has the same part number to other parts. JT 1381, but the inner teeths are slightly too wide or perhaps are bit to small diameter wise

I'd reuse it but only as a temporary measure until I can source one that fits. Worn sprockets will wear out a new chain fast.

Teeth look somewhat rounded off and relatively worn

You could maybe get a bit more life out of it, but if you've put a new chain on, I wouldn't use it as a long-term solution
