Car Enthusiast Club [Now Motorcycle friendly!] - First thread to 150k! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Wait, they have? First the Evo and now the STI? ?

What's next? The GT-R and 370Z? :/

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Nah, weight reduction bro.

In all seriousness if I'm moving it's bearable. Even with the windows up, I don't have a blower motor so the vent in the wiper cowl lets in fresh air. It's the stop lights that suck, mainly because it's hot but also because I hate everyone around me for not moving.

I'm so glad that literally no one in the world bought one, because it'd mean I'd try to search for one.

cause it is a really nice and quite rare car?

ngl i want one myself ... but if i got one it probably would be the 2.0l i6 that we got over here

I started and finished cleaning my passenger side wheels, going to dress the tires and put a coat of Rejex on the wheels to maybe keep the brake dust from sticking so badly. I used the Meguiars Ultimate wheel cleaner and I'll be darned if it didn't work really well and really easily, way better than the Hot Rims I've used before.

@warmmilk

Backstory is he was ready to do a big engine upgrade but to stay with an EJ would mean doing dry sump to be competitive. Shopping around with the money he wanted something that revved high, shot flames, and could still retain the AWD.

if it's the 3.0 v6 then pass. there's almost no aftermarket for it.

Does anybody know how to take a stuck CV axle out? My driver's side one won't budge no matter what we try.

as long as its a 2.0 turbo or a 2.3 turbo it should be good ... 2.3T Aero being the preferred option

thats not the issue ... the 3.0 V6 just cant make any power ....
a 2.0t with a turbo upgrade and a tune can make more power ...

Get a cv axle tool. They look like this.

Makes it A TON easier. At least it helped a ton on my corolla when I had it.
