Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

More than likely.

Undertrays hide a surprisingly high amount of leakages

they tend to help contain leaks ?

hence why there are tracks that require undertrays / spash trays ... just in case something goes wrong

Thats one of the annoying things about some of the jag undertrays, you can see all the backside of the drivers side of the engine but the passenger side is covered and that tends to be where things leak from.

sounds like jag knew where to put the undertray to contain leaks ... or did they build in leaks ? ?

fuck knows, but seemingly everytime we find a leak its in that general area and youll only see it with the whole undertray removed

Mine has M for Manly mode, it makes the buttons on the steering wheel make the engine make more engine sounds.

So a while back a new car to me showed up at C&C, and it took me a while to figure out that this was an Exige with a GT3 body kit added on. Not for looks, as the previous owner was known to have tracked the car. A bit more digging brought up this video, which linked to the old owner (Kalson Chan, Speed Syndicate, Canadian!), an intent to sell the car for ~$85k CAD late 2016/mid 2017. It appeared to have sold, and its now on what appears to be on the opposite side of the country compared to where it originated.

^ review from just before he decided to sell it, minus the front aero; filmed at the Ridge Motorsports Park

Hey, just got around to watching the vid and realized it’s at the ridge, my local track (somehow missed the part where you wrote that the first time I read this post). I’m always surprised how much non regulars like the track... of the 4 tracks in the area I’d rate this one 3rd best...  I also wouldn’t call it easy on brakes, it’s not particularly hard on brakes either, I just would call out easy on brakes as one of its features.   the track is killer on your front right tire tho...

any by chance you know what kinda laptimes the owner runs there? The guy in the vid was obviously taking it easy, so not really curious about his laptimes

Welp, update on the Audi. Turns out there were 2 o-rings.... Got it replaced and topped up today though.

Also noticed a vaccume hose had a tear in it. Might explain why the turbo felt weird this last week....

I left the fender flairs out of the order ;). Sadly it's 280euro (over 300 us) to ship the thing to the US, but all of the good rear bumper diffuser replacements are in the EU, so all of the shipping costs were similar.

I hope you insured the shipment, maybe I'm paranoid but I would worry about a package that size and that fragile making the journey without damage.
