Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

check insurance first. back when I sold cars, I had one on trade-in. I've lost countless deals on it because customers said their insurance said it would cost more than a corvette to insure. big v6 motor too close to impact points on the car and what not. your mileage may vary, so check - but definitely don't go into a purchase without checking on that car

I'm looking into it. Even if it's expensive it'll be worth it to me. It's the closest I can get to the WRX hatchback that I love for quite a while and it's much rarer

Do you see the hood on a vehicle having stupid bows and dangly strings? Bonnet sounds ridiculous. Almost as much as a "boot." [emoji14] Besides, the English barely manage to speak their own language.

Also guys my family's car didn't start today when we tried, the battery had discharged for an unknown reason, any ideas? We didn't have any lights or anything on during the night so we have literally no clue what might have caused it to discharge any ideas?

The top of the battery doesn't have a ton of corrosion, does it? A wire might be shorting out somewhere.

When did you last replace the battery? Sometimes they go dead with age.

Foor wasn't closed properly, radio left on mute by accident? Gauge light not shutting off properly. It could be so many things man.. Even a worn out ground wire could cause the battery to slowly discharge if it's touching anything metal.. Alternator could be shot..

Test it with a multimeter if it's anything below 13.5v then its dying.. If the voltage slowly drops (eg 13.5, 13.4, 13.3) then its dying..
