Apperently NCIX website is now gone

Has anyone tried to go to ncix.com lately? I did today and it won't load for me. I was mainly curious if their website finally came down considering they aren't in business anymore and it was still up.

Also here is a list of items that are being auctioned off from NCIX if anyone wants to look. http://bid.ableauctions.ca/NCIX-Richmond-Auction_as51658

This would seem to make sense since they are now defunct as a company.  No real reason to keep the site up.

They are still up but the address is changed due their tactical restructure; freedomains.tk/free/site/ncix/index.html 

Unfortunately the cost saving measure was applied too late.

I find it hilarious how everything on that auction is "high end gaming rig"... I mean come on there are Ryzen 3 machines and i7 3930k... hardly high end haha.

Good that it's finally down for people that weren't aware what was going on. Really I wished I lived in the area, would have been nice to get some stuff there for the auction.

When you look the bids, the prices are terrible. Then you read the fine print and you realize there is a 17% buyers fee added to your bid... Then taxes. The bids then become horrendous. The single 1080ti up is at 1250 bid. That is 1462 bucks plus tax already, and the actual in-person auction hasn't started yet...

 

The titan xp is currently in stock on the Nvidia site for 1200usd (1523 cad). Buying 1080tis direct from evga using their bundle page is even less...

 

I honestly don't understand who is bidding on these.
