Looking for an RGB keyboard

Jobinx

Thinking of getting an IKBC F108 or a MasterKeys Pro S or L, but I wanna explore more options.

I have my idea for the ideal keyboard:

  • Linear or tactile switches only. Can't do clicky

  • I already own a set of PBT keycaps. That being said, i'm only looking for boards with a standard bottom row

  • I sometimes play games that use arrow keys, so no 60%'s

  • Dedicated multimedia (volume) keys are preferred, but Fn keys are fine

  • Re-mapping keys and creating macros is always a great addition. But if there's no software, there's no problem.

  • A removable cable is great, but not required

  • I don't plan on modding/custom building a keyboard

  • I live in canada, so I might not be able to get my hands on some keyboards

I own the thermaltake Challenger Prime keyboard. It's not really clicky, it does make some noise while typing.

It's a nice unit, tho I have noticed after hours of playing games and typing (mostly playing) the popular have keys started losing the black paint on them. It's noticeable but not obstructive. It's about 2 or so years old.

It should be noted for that model you're limited to one color glowing at a time, it cycles but not a rainbow at once.
