Any thoughts about ncix.com still being up

I was looking for a screen on newegg.ca and by reflex, I checked the price on amazon.ca and ncix.com forgetting they went bankrupt.

Surprise though ! The web site is still up and actually is a little different from before, which could mean it is still managed. How is that? Do you think NCIX was given the chance to have a second life (Sentai style : bigger and stronger)?

Chack this link if it also works for you : NCIX

Dear diary: Today was not tomorrow and not yesterday, which I think is nice...

//Overengineering example:

#include <iostream>
#include <string>

using namespace std;

int main()
{
  string s = "Hello World";
  for (int i = 0; i < s.length(); ++i)
  {
      cout << s[i];
  }
  return 0;
}

the same thing happened to circuit city, another company buys the rights to use the site, and keep it running.

Tiger Direct bought Circuit City name and website

EDIT: uhh this page says Circuit City will be back Feb 15th http://circuitcitycorporation.com/

It looks like the engine is running but nobody is behind the wheel.  Aside from the deal banner being blank, I think it's pretty much the same and abandoned.

I wonder if Mr Wu is hiding in a bunker somewhere with stashes of his customers' money....

Another company, Direct Canada, has the same problem. As far as I can tell they to are bankrupt, however their website is still up.

Not sure why, not sure why it's allowed, I wish there was a way you could file some kind of take down request.

If they're going to leave their site up they could at least put up some sort of apology message to the loyal customers whose money they stole to cover their own debts before they went out of business.

They're dead dead.

All retail locations closed, all staff fired including the guy processing refunds thus why i never got my $1800 back from my order back in November.

The bank should have it to me within another month, but i'm still annoyed.

The law still hasn't really caught up with the internet. Either their website hosting was paid up in advance, or whoever is hosting it hasn't realised.

Well still : I remember the website being unavailable for a while after going backrupt and I also remember Linus posting the unavailable website on Facebook.

EDIT : wait... I think that was me

EDIT2 : Nope : that was Linus :

It was down briefly then came back up.

Posting on their forums stopped working (apparently works for people using mobile) so their forums died minus a few posts here and there..

At one point there was a post that has since disappeared  that suggested Canada Computers had purchased NCIX. Around about the same time a bunch of store openings in Vancouver occurred under the NCIX name. this may explain why the website is still up it may be following through to Canada computers and thier order system.
