PSU recommendation z370

So I have a question about the following build:

 

Case: Nzxt H700i

CPU: Coffee Lake Intel i7 8700k

CPU Cooler: Nzxt x62(or 52) Kraken

Motherboard: ASUS Maximus X Code z370

GPU: Asus Nvidia Strix 1080(ti) (I'll have to look what I can afford when the prices drop...)

RAM: G-Skill Trident Z RGB 2x8Gb

Drives: Seagate Barracuda 2tb HDD Data-Drive

            Samsung M.2 960 EVO SSD Boot-Drive

Fans: Nzxt Aer RGB fans

PSU: ?

 

Pc-Part-Picker.com says its 475W, And I would plan to overclock.

So which modular PSU would you recommend me?

Whisper M 550W, RM550x/i and Straight Power 11 550W. If you don't care as much about noise, the G2, G3, Focus Plus Gold and Leadex are some options. 550W is plenty for an overclocked 1080 Ti system. 

If you for some reason want the ability to get a multi-GPU system, you can add the Prime Ultra and T2 750/850W.

For an 8700K and 1080, you'd see maybe 400W of power draw. A Corsair RM550x or EVGA G3 550W would be fine for you. For a 1080 Ti I'd up it to 650W for either of those. Check out the Bitfenix Whisper and Seasonic Focus Gold as well.

I don’t really have any psu suggestions but a good price when prices drop again for 1080s is around 400. I picked up a 1080 for 430 last summer.

Where did you get a 1080 for under $500? Assuming you didnt buy it used, lowest I could find was a Zotac founders edition in april

lol it was a used one off of hardwareswap. Dual fan zotac. I sold it off a month later cause I was disappointed in both that and a dual 1070 setup. Now I use lower tier GPUs because they more than fulfill my needs and now I have more PCs!
