Used GTX 950 for friend

nutterbutter640

My friend wants to start moving from Xbox to PC and he has a good PC to start with but he needs a better GPU, due to the absolute trash which is the graphics card market I have been looking for used ones. In my area there are many 950s for $80 bucks. He seems to be OK with lower graphics and frame rates he just wants to be able to play games with us. I will also need to take into consideration the psu, it is probably not much good as his is a pre built but we will see. Im not sure if 950s require additional Psu plugs.

His current specs are as follows,

i7 4770

16gb memory

gt 635

If you can just pool a few more dollars together I would go for a 960 as you will get significantly higher frame rates for not much more money

950 is a very weak card. Try getting a 970 or 960 minimum.

I actually just posted in the forums a few hours ago asking what a fair price would be for my GTX 970.  If you might be interested in it check out my post and let me know.
