eBay will begin inter-mediating payments through Ayden

Looks like Adyen charge 12¢ fee per transactions... I'm assuming Paypal would also be taking their cut off every transactions that goes through their systems as well.

So if a buyer sends money from a paypal account to a seller's Adyen account(or vice versa) = Less money for the seller than before?

I don't think it'll mater much. I don't see them getting rid of the Paypal option, I imagine they'll simply add another choice.

It'd be interesting to see how much of a loss Paypal would take if eBay abandoned them entirely. I imagine most of their business is done there.

Depends what the alternative was. I'd still use it, I'd just only attach a credit card to the payment service. Unfortunately that would make my payments much more difficult.

Only time will tell if this is a smart move or eventually be shoved under the mat and revert back to full time ebay. 

I personally will be sticking with ebay because i already have a account on it and not in the mood to make more accounts.
