Hello everybody!

I´m having an issue with my computer, more precisely with my  RGB, my motherboard is an Asus Z370-E and even after switching off my computer the RGB are still shinning

I would like to know if is possible to switch it off, but only when the pc is off

so that when I would be using my pc all RGB are still shinning but when I would say go to sleep or switch off

it would

switch off

thanks in advance

turn off the PSU with the switch on the back of it and the RGB should shut off

5v still runs through the pc when its off but still plugged in. and thats enough for lights to function (its the whole point of the 5v running though it for the mobo indicator lights)

You Can do that with aura software or in the BIOS Advanced > ErP ready > Disabled (this will also disable other optional)

but there wouldn´t be a solution where I only have to tweak the software?

I was wrong in BIOS Advanced > onboard device configuration > RGB lighting > in sleep > off

@CryptoMatt that´s wrong, if your mouse is making double click you dont just get used to it you buy a new one

the machines have to adjust to your needs

and not another way around

@mbox i have just downloaded the software and it solves the problem only of the gpu and motherboard

doing the same as the menu from the bios

the ram is a g.skill

not sure how to solve this problem

would be nice not have it glowing when the pc is switched off

at least 2/3 from the issue is already managed

rsrs

Those are aura Sync compatibile, not shure why It isn't picking them up. Be shure to have the last version of aura software but I can't help you more than that since I do not own nothing that is aura compatible

  • 1 year later...

ok .. heres how i fixed my rog back io plate from cycling while pc was shut off

went in bios > advanced > onboard devices > led control in shutdown set to Aura only... save & boot windows.

next head over to Asus & get the latest version of Asus Armoury Crate & install then launch...

click the top left icon "devices" & click on the board name Asus Rog Strix X570-F Gaming, next screen you see a switch on left displaying "on"  with various effect modes...turn it OFF

problem solved instantly... no lights at all after shutdown !

  • 3 months later...

I had this issue but now with a latest update of the AmouryCrate the device page just doesn't load and now cant turn off. Anyone know what config file applicable to turning off the the lighting effect, i haven't found anything in the C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\B9ECED6F.ArmouryCrate_2.6.14.0_x64__qmba6cd70vzyy but could be wrong and thinking the config is in C:\ProgramData\ASUS
