OS Boot Drive on SSD SATA or mSATA

AirKing

I have a new build im working on and i have been wondering a couple things and was hoping the forums here could help

1. dedicated boot drive for OS (hardware side, not partitions) proes and cons.

2. benefits of having the boot drive on a mSATA device

also ive been wondering if there is a prefered mSATA for putting a OS' mainly in terms of size/speed (and for all my searching seems that the plextor 256g[/url=http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=79858&vpn=PX-256M5M&manufacture=PLEXTOR&promoid=1495] has the best read/wrights)

Thank you in advance.

I'd personally go for the standard SSD as a boot drive since mSATA is more for caching [probably works as boot though] and mSATA is SATA II if I'm not mistaken.

And mSATA SSDs are really expensive in a decent size you'd need for the OS and a few progs.

Go with something like a Samsung 840 pro as boot drive, the good stuff ^^
