the cheapest case that can fit 3 290s is probably the NZXT source 210.

The bigger question is, why a budget case for THREE R9 290x's?

You need to sort out your priorities in terms of your budget.

Why the hell are you getting a budget case for 3x 290x?

Get a good looking one like a Corsair 750D...

If I were you I would get 2 290x and use the rest of the money on a case and better everything else. The case probably isn't the only place you are cutting corners.

There are 2 main aspects which you are overlooking. First of all, presuming that the 3 cards are right next to one another, with a cheap case and bad airflow, they WILL be starved for air. Secondly and more importantly, with 3 reference coolers, that system will be friggin loud so you might want to consider watercooling them. Which leads to my original thought: Save some money for a better case.

Get a proper case, which allows you to water cool two 290Xs. There no big benefit with the 3rd card. Instead coole two of them properly and OC them.

who cares...

3 way xfire scaling is bad, I would get 2 of them or 2 780ti for about the same price. Look at a Define R4 for cases.

If you dump a lot of money into a system don't cut corners on important parts. Get a good case so the cards get good cooling or themselves could get ruined.

Easier option sell/don't get one of the 290's then buy a nice case

So I spelt something wrong in my post... I don't care I don't read through what I write and I type very quickly.

Don't corners on components, and seriously, tri-Xfire is not the best choice IMO.
