How To Remove stickers for Rebate

Hello! I am trying to get a rebate from Asus and it wants me to get rid of the sticker with serial # and UPC but I am unsure how to get that sticker off the cardboard box without tearing it. I assume that someone here has gone through a similar process so I am asking advice on the proper process to remove it. Thanks!

using scissors, you cut the sticker from the cardboard box. you'll destroy the very thing they need trying to peel it off.

Yep they want you to specifically cut it out, in most cases.

 

It gives them "physical" proof that you actually own the item, and haven't, for example, returned it after applying for the rebate.
