DisplayPort makes colours too bright

maybethisnamewillwork

Through the DisplayPort, the colours go too bright that it hurts my eyes, as if there was too much gamma or something.
HDMI and DVI-D appear normal even if the same colour settings are available (RGB/YCbCr444, Full/Limited range).

The monitor is a Samsung U28D590D, just the same on what NVidia graphics card I try so it does it always. I tried to fiddle with the settings on NVidia control panel but did not find fix for it.

I have a Benq monitor that seems to apply a different set of settings per input, so if you switch connection for the first time, you have to put in the settings all over again. One time thing, it remembers it for future. Could that be happening here too?

No the monitor settings keep the same regardless of the input. I just think the DP looks different as it offers wider colour range, but I can't find settings to make it look same as HDMI/DVI-D.
