Both the 1060 3GB/6Gb will be better than the RX 470 4GB, and if you can, I would for a 6GB card, you'll have a much better gaming experience. However, it does depend on what games you'll be playing and since your, at 1080p I would go with the 1060 3Gb if the 6GB would force you to make compromises with your CPU.

The experience between the 3/6GB is pretty minimal- especially at 1080p according to benchmarks and tests.

Don't get me wrong, I'd recommend the 6GB for "futureproofing" but all in all it's not a huge performance buff you get. a few FPS at best from what I've seen.

But generally between your picks, OP, the 1060 is more powerful and should crush most games in high settings while still reaching 60FPS.

Thanks guys, the radeon situation is such that i am getting the rx 570 4gb for the same price as a gtx 1060 6gb so i should go for the gtx 1060 6 gb in your opinion ?

Yeah the 1060 beats the 570 as well.

Either the 3/6GB is good, pick one according to your budget basically. :)
