Budget christmas gaming PC

So I was thinking about building a light gaming pc as a gift for someone. I have a GTX 950 that I would probably use, but everything else I would have to buy. It would need to include a monitor and wifi, and it would be great to get the total system cost down to under $450. Any case recommendations? Any changes?

PSU seems a bit sketchy, you can get a Corsair CX450M for a pretty low price, so probably look into that. Other than that, all looks fine and good.

Sounds good, figured EVGA would be okay, but I'll definitely check the CX450M.

The very low end of EVGA and even corsair arent exactly recommended in most cases, but would get the job done if you had to go with one. Honestly you can get a higher series from each for around 5$ more when on sale, so watch for that. Also, i would just get a 7200 RPM 1TB HDD for around 45-50$. Saving the 15$ on the HDD, spend 5-10$ more on a B350 motherboard when on sale as well. Other than that, pretty decent.

Would this case/psu combo be a better deal, would the psu hold up?

Honestly, probably not. If you're looking for a case, you can't go wrong with an NZXT S340. The PSU will hold up, my Diablotek 400W has lasted me this long. Although it's generally not recommended at all

That looks good! I'm not certain about keys, but they seem to be cheap and they have that buyer protection if it doesn't work:

I saw the video a few months ago and seems like it's a pretty good buying system.
