Can I just move my hard drive from one SATA port to another?

So I hate around 3 black seta ports and 1 blue one, and I know that the blue one is faster. I just bought an SSD, and I have a seta 3.0 cord. And I want to plug it into the blue seta port, but my normal hard drive is already in, can I just take that out, put it another seta port, and my SSD cord into the blue one?

Yeah it would be fine.

Make sure the power is off before you do it tho... (if that is not obvious)

SATA is hot swappable if the motherboard supports it. The only issue here is the running operating system and programs.
