HDMI looks worse than DVI-I in my pc

DVI-I is just a DVI + VGA combo port. Newer graphics cards do not have VGA support, so DVI-I ports are not possible.

The HDMI adapter probably looks worse because it is converting HDMI signals into VGA, whereas a DVI-I port outputs native VGA signals when an adapter is attached.

I was using a GTX 750 ti with a VGA to DVI-I (Dual Link)

Now i am using a GTX 1050 but with a VGA to HDMI adaptor (because for some reason they changed the connector to DVI-D) and now the colors looks extremely bad i cant even see the name of the champions in the League of Legends launcher

i cant even play Battlefield 3 because when i open the game my monitor displays the error message "Out of range 67.4 kHz / 60hz" so i have to close the game.

Nor i can use DSR Factors in the nvidia control panel becuase i get the same display error message.

Is there a way i can fix this hdmi hell?

Don't use VGA-HDMI... Straight HDMI doesn't come with any of the issues of VGA.

I wish i could do that, but for now i only have a LG 19EN33 which only has 1 VGA connector.

Also i didnt had any problems using the DVI-I adaptor =/ with the old card

HDMI has some fun scaling you have to deal with, VGA is a terrible connector when it comes to sizing an image. This is what you're going to get. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You might be able to check your HDMI settings in the Nvidia Control Panel and see if you can fix any problems but that's about it.

Yeah....I wonder why they dropped support for an analog standard (VGA) that was released in the 1980s and that was basically always paired with a digital standard -- DVI, HDMI, or DP for the last ten plus years.

They had DVI-I for legacy support....It's 2017 and digital alternatives have been commonplace on monitors/tvs for more than a decade (and have been on anything high end for almost two decades).

You can try using an active converter. PS: It doesn't always work though.

An active converter is the ONLY way it could work, and a (non garbage) active converter will always work (assuming you're operating within the bounds of VGA).

VGA to HDMI adaptor

Your monitor have VGA input only and your display card now have HDMI output only. This is what you mean right.

In this case,  you should use HDMI to VGA converter / HDMI to VGA cable not VGA to HDMI converter and connect your HDMI to VGA converter / HDMI to VGA cable where the HDMI part to your GPU Geforce GTX 1050 output not another way round.

HDMI to VGA Converter

HDMI to VGA Cable

I don't see any issue convert from HDMI to VGA and it should be very clear output with correct 60hz refresh rate. My office always doing this as we still have a lot old monitor which only have VGA input but new card only came with HDMI or DP output. I don't even have issue convert DP to VGA also.

Digital to Analog won't cause any issue but Analog to Digital which need active converter will cause big issue where the output is blur. In short it is generally not usable at all.

Just sharing information, this one not applicable to your current situation.

You only need to use active converter if your display card only have analog output and your monitor is HDMI input and against it show you rubbish output. You can solve this by using USB station dock and use the HDMI output from the USB station dock connect to your monitor HDMI input, you get decent quality in such setting but you no need this because now is your display card got HDMI and monitor got VGA.

Currently my second monitor is using USB Station Dock HDMI output because my laptop only have one HDMI and one VGA and both my monitor only have HDMI and DP input. The active converter from VGA to HDMI give you terrible output, thus I had no choice use USB docking station for the output, in short clear view I am using USB to HDMI now for second monitor connection.

This is Active Converter from VGA to HDMI and it is still rubbish output.

You no need to use this and should not use this.

Below is a better solution if your GPU only left out VGA output and your monitor is HDMI input.

Only in this case, you should use USB to HDMI converter or USB Station Dock (Station Dock is better solution).
