I bought AMD-only ram 2 weeks ago.

It should be here this week but i can't test it until next week.

I'll probably create a new topic then trying it out in an AM3 system and  a B85-chipset system.

I can try it by then so whatever, i'll give it a try :P

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

because its ECC memory.  i cant find the listing but one seller sad in the post that it's ecc registered or smating (your motherboard needs to support ecc or it also wont work even on AM3+)

here is a list of motherbords that support ECC on the AM3+ socket

I just got some cheap DDR4 ecc memory for my ryzen upgrade for just 150 euros i got 32GB of ecc (8 per dimm :)) normal DDR4 gose for 300+ here :)

ECC is a lot more expensive, and it's slower.

You can see it in my build very soon :D . Mind you its second hand do so. still its 2400MHz so good for ryzen. and i wilt rader get 32GB 2400Mhz ecc than 16GB 3000Mhz for the same price. also ECC DDR 3 is hella cheap 32GB is like 160 or somting like that

2400mhz ECC memory in ryzne will be so stupidly slow, infinity fabric already cuts in half your speed if you're under 2933mh, then you get half of your speed left cut off again by the ECC... in no way this would be enough being realistic, get the cheapest possible Samsung 2666mhz ram and oc it to 2933mhz you'll get crushing performance improvement while pricing is not all that off.

Its not for gaming. its a workstation that dasn't need blasing speeds. just ram and cores. having 10 points les in chinabanch or lose 10 fps in games i cant be F with that
