Is Wattman Just bad for OC?

mbox

Hi guys, I own an xfx 580 GTS XXX that has an OC+ state that needs to be manully applied in Wattman but it Just keep restoring the default settings. Should I apply It with afterburner? In this case how can I deactivate Wattman because I had it conflicting with afterburner in the past with an r7 260x

I have been using MSi Afterburner all my life and it has worked just fine.... never needed another software for it, and funny part is that I never had a MSi graphics card.
