Making Video Editing PC need Suggestion

Hi,

I just started my Video Editing Class and need a Professional Build which can easily do 4K editing my Budget is nearly 1000$ but I just need Processor, Motherboard and GPU I have 32 GB RAM which will do Good and 2 4K Monitor but I am confused in which Processor and GPU to Get so Help me get that. Thanks in Advance. P.S. I am in India so Price will differ a bit and also AMD GPU aren't available in India... Also tell me if I should Forget all that and just get an iMac or MacBook.

I don't see a way a GTX 1080ti would fit in. But a GTX 1080 with a Ryzen 7 or 8700K would work.

I dont need all that and I dont think 1050ti will able to handle 4k well

if your rendering is gpu based, get powerful gpu like 1080/1080ti & pair with ryzen 1600/1700 cpu. dont make build on usa pcpartpicker, it wouldn't match the price in your country at all.

In India GTX 1080 is of 913$ that's biggest issue here..... :-(

ahh that is true. price is totally different when go to link.. it seems pcpartpicker india don't have updated price list or I am not familiar what is the reason. I dont have anymore suggestion than maybe you will have to settle with gtx 1070. But maybe if there is way, try to purchase it from abroad & ship it there even if you have to spend few dollar in delivery.

I have the following Rig:

 

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 1600 stock - 17k INR

Motherboard - ASUS ROG Strix B350f-Gaming - 10k INR

Graphics - Zotac GTX 1060 6GB mini - 23k INR

 

I have no experience with rendering 4k video. But, I do edit 1080p videos for youtube. I use Adobe Premier Pro. I can export the final cut of the video in 8 to 10 minutes @1080p for the video length of 30 minutes.

You can take this as reference and see if this falls nicely with your expectations. For 50k INR, I have a pretty nice build for editing videos. I dont have a 4k monitor, otherwise I would have ran a 4k video and note the time it takes. You can probably take this as a starting point and google for the performance of higher tier graphics card in video editing.
