CPU for a 24-7/gaming/Videoedeit

So I'm building a light video editing / gaming rig for a friend of mine, He also just asked me to incorporate a streaming app......basically he wanted me to also make the build a 24/7 home theater PC.....I'm not quite sure what CPU to use...just because it will be running 24-7 and even though it will have a nightly reset I don't know if it should affect my decision. System Specs are  Risen 1700X, Darkrock pro 3,  MSI B350 tomahawk,  Gskill Ripjaws V 16G-2666Mz,  2 Seagate barracuda 2TB 7200RPM drives, a DVD read-writeer thingy, Windows 10 HE 64Bit

Thanks, Lsat

Sorry, to clarify I already have the case/power supply

I'm wanting to keep the price for the rest of the build around 1K

For video editing and 24/7 your best bet would be a sever CPU.

first and formost
here's a tool to help you plan the build :

very usefull.

the 1700x defenitly can handle that.

As for running 24/7.
what you need is a good powersupply. don't cheap out on that part.
and if you really plan on doing any video editing. an SSD is a must. hdd's are just way too slow.

Yes ....I was wondering what I had forgot...h0ow you forget an SSD however is a new one to me. I have a Coolermaster V650 so I'm fine on the power supply front and I'll probably add a 500G smashing 850 EVO I'll be buying off a friend who's selling it for half price..
