Trying to play Road Rash 1996 on PC

I'm trying to play this on Windows 10 64bit. I downloaded the game from bestofoldgames. First it needed the cd. So I mounted it but then it said the game wasn't installed. I can't figure out how to install it. Any ideas?

a VM with windows 98 would be my first guess, either that or dosbox.

Tried dosbox and it didn't work. I'll have to try VM with windows 98. What VM do you suggest? I have used Oracle VM Virtual Box in the past to run linux but it was just to play a game. Other than that I don't have much experience with VM's.

It looks like there's a community patch for Road Rash that allows it to work on modern systems.

Thanks a lot for this. It worked! I had to download another ISO for the game, the one I had was missing some files. And I had to get the latest version (replaying.de) of the installer mentioned in the video but everything worked out.
