USB type-c to Displayport?

I have this laptop: https://www.asus.com/uk/Laptops/ZX553VD-DM640T/specifications/

Can the USB Type C port be used to output to a monitor via displayport?

For example, a type c to displayport adaptor then into the monitor through a normal DP cable.

If it's possible, what refresh rates and resolutions does it support? I'm looking at a 144hz ultrawide monitor at 2560x1080 or 2560x1440
