I've never heard bad things about WD drives, and they recently(i.e earlier this year/last year) started making SSDs

I mean they're good value, but definitely not the fastest. Samsung and Intel I believe have that standing when it comes to m.2 drives right now, with the 960 evo/pro and the 600p/900p.

That's true, Intel and Samsung SSDs are speedy.

 

Although if I was going for value alone, I'd get WD or Crucial
