Who is getting the iPhone X?

So I was just wondering who has pre-ordered or has plans to pick up the iPhone X? Personally I'm saving for it so I can get it before the summer. Any opinions about it? What do you think about the price? Do you think the new screen should be the new Apple norm or are you ok with them sticking to chubby bezels? I think it's the best looking phone of 2017, no doubt the S8 is good looking but there's just something about the cutout for the front facing camera that makes it so unique and not Apple-y. The new space grey color that makes it look fantastic as well, the old space grey was just silver to me.

I don't really care for bezeled or bezelless designs as long as the phone does what it can do as well as possible.

I got the 8, i wouldn't get the X because apple isn't the best with first gens of new stuff, maybe ill get the second version of the X

That's a bit rude but would you cash out for any other flagship phone? With the S8+ being £779 the iPhone X isn't much of a stretch being £999, really "only" a £220 difference which is less than a 1060 6GB.

I ordered a space gray 64gb, that should be arriving on the 3rd. I'm upgrading from a 6s+ and because of two things, the camera and the smaller size with a similar sized screen. I would have stuck with my 6s+ if both of those changes weren't made.

I agree with you there, I'm hesitant with the Face ID and lack of a physical home button. I have to save for it so if sh*t goes wrong and I decide not to get one at least I'll have £1,000 in my pocket.

It's not my first choice of things to do, but $1000 (more like $500 since I can sell it in two years) isn't the end of the world. Honestly, I would have much rather had an $850 X without an OLED screen.

Good point about selling it, I feel like most people forget that part. The screen isn't a huge selling point of any phone for me anyway, I'm fine with the 1080p one on my 6s+, on a 5.5" screen 1080p is more enough. But I am happy that Apple is bumping up the screen specs even if it does push the price up substantially.

There isn't a downside to buying two from Verizon since the restocking fee is waived, so he can buy both and decide which he likes better and either return or sell the other one.

I have the money. And I feel this is a big step from what they have done now and might be something they never do again.
