Cheap alternate to Thrustmaster TH8A?

Title says it all, Is there a cheap alternate that works independently, Like the TH8A? I know there is the logitech Driving Force shifter but apparently it doesnt work alone? I like to play racing games with my Xbox 360 wheel on my PC, But I would love a shifter to go alongside it.
