Yes it does. While it'll still be running at 720x576 interlaced, the Xbox 360 supports switching aspect ratios, and the apps tend to be fine with it.

Does anyone know if the Xbox 360 youtube app works with a widescreen CRT TV? I'm currently using a PS3 but it uses wrong aspect ratio or something when using the youtube app and I can't find any way to fix it.

I don't have a SCART or composite cable for my Xbox so I can't try it myself.

This is what the PS3 youtube looks like:

Widescreen (16:9)

Zoomed mode, it still have a little black border on top and REALLY big scan lines

And 4:3 which look the best, but I don't want to use 4:3 on my 16:9 TV :D

YouTube doesn't require anything special on the Xbox 360 to watch videos on it, so it should be okay to go at 4:3.

Yes it does. While it'll still be running at 720x576 interlaced, the Xbox 360 supports switching aspect ratios, and the apps tend to be fine with it.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!
