Is it worth buying the 11Gbps version of the 1080 over the 10Gbps one?

at the same price yes, or maybe like +$20, anymore I wouldn't bother, my 1080 ram overclocks to 11gps speeds anyway

The prices of them are more or less the same. The thing is, the 11gbps one is currently out of stock and the place from where I would be buying it, said that i'd have to wait for about 2 weeks to get the 11gbps one.

So, the thing now is, should I buy the 10gbps one or wait for two weeks?

I mainly use it for gaming.

the 11gbps model is the same thing but the memory of the card run at 11 000mhz...i have a GTX 1080 windforce which has 10 000mhz memory but i run my GDDR5X memory at 11 400mhz without any issues...so there's that.

okay..

Just out of curiosity, the 10 gbps one can easily overclock to 11 gbps.

Does that mean, that the 11 gbps one will overclock even higher?
