Cannot change cpu voltage in gigabyte ab350

I recently got a ryzen 3 1200 and a gigabyte ab350 motherboard with hopes of overclocking the cpu but whenever I go into the bios to change the frequency and voltage I am unable to change the voltage. I would type in 1.29 and press enter and the number would just disappear where I typed it. I have checked the mobo manual and the gigabyte ryzen oc guide and both show that I should be able to change the voltage an frequency. Eventually I decided to look for overclocking software but every one that I’ve found has terrible reviews or is very difficult to set up. What can I do

Check what version of BIOS you have, and what's the latest one avaliable.

If updating BIOS doesn't solve your problem, I would just return that motherboard.
