ASRock Z270 Supercarrier and the 5Gb/s LAN

 Share

The mobo comes with 3 ethernet ports. The blue ones are the intel ones and the red one is the 5Gb port?

How does Win10 recognize it if i connect: a) just the 2 Intel ones, b) all 3 & c) just the the red one all to the same ethernet switch?

Even with existing boards (z270, AM4, X399 and X299 mobos), ones that come with 2 Intel LAN ports, people still connect all the ports to the same router?!
