new monitor for around £150 ($200)

i have a lg m2262d that i have had for about 6 years and its starting to show its age does anyone have any suggestions for a upgrade im looking for around a 22-27 inch monitor for £150

i would prefer good colour as i will be connecting my 2015 macbook pro but will also be doing some gaming with xbox one i cant afford to build a pc right now

If you want color, you want to look for the following specs:

A panel with a minimum resolution of 1920x1080 (ASUS have a good deal on a 1440p monitor though)

"IPS" panels (this is a must, the color is far far better than other panels)

>95% SRGB%

Frameless if possible. It helps bring out the color quite a bit.

 

I advise anything from ASUS, LG or Samsung, all have fantastic picture quality, paticularly the Asus VC, VX, or the LG VQ series. I have owned both and both had fantastic picture quality and no dead pixels.

Fits the criteria just fine. Best size for a 1080p monitor (good pixel density), IPS so it's got great color and viewing angles, and slim bezels.

 

I will say that you can get a similar monitor for £30 cheaper, this one is pretty much the same but cheaper :
