payday 2 won't start up

Payday 2 won't start up,

when I try and start it up it will show a black screen and then it will stop running steam says it active until it stops running.

If tried fully reinstall the game wich first work, until I change the resolution so I tried the same trick 2 without any success. 

 

does someone know what the problem is or where I must start looking?

yes I had hox hud but I'm sure that is removed

sometimes there can still be files left even tho you have reinstalled the game. go in your payday 2 folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\PAYDAY 2 then there should be a folder named Hoxhud and two files that is named IPHLPAPI.dll and PD2APIDLL1.dll remove these 3 things just to make sure that it is removed

I removed everything in that folder and then reinstall the game (removed it from my desktop first)
