(DND) twin spell with witch bolt

if i use twin spell with witch bolt can i hit 2 targets next turn or i just choose 1 target the next turn?

I'm pretty sure the DM/GM would restrict that... Otherwise, double-cast my double-cast's double-cast...

no it can hit the same target. you have to choose a different target and do 2 witch bolts

but if you keep concentration you can redo without rolling hit dice so if i choose to redo it will it target both of my targets

From what I remember, using any "mulligan" ability was movement-wide. So, if you mulligan an attack that hits several, you redo the whole attack. 

 

At least that's how my DM did it, though he was a special kind of dick...

The rules say that it lets you TARGET another foe.It doesen't let you deal Insta damage to both of them however as their is no targetting involved.Howvere your application of twinned spell in conjunction with a second level spell slot results in you turning an attack that would deal 1d12 initial damage and 1d12 ''Bleed effect damage''(Or instant cardiac arrest, however you like to interpret it i guess, we all seem to like it when you snap your fingers and kill somebody by way of blowing up their heart with lighting) into a SUPER attack that deals 2d12 damage to two targets AND a choice of an additional 1d12 ''bleed effect damage'' to a target of your choice (Ideally the one who is already half dead).that amounts to a total damage output of 5d12 damage at 4th level.Yay for the power of magical heart disease!

lol if its cast with 4th level spell slot it will deal 4d12 to two target as well as 1d12 to one extra target amounting to a total 9d12 total damage dealt.
